NRR Cat King Cole  (“Cole’)  is a 2007 AQHA bay son of High Brow Cat having NCHA earnings  of $230,000+  all earned in Open contests.  He retired to stud in 2016 completely sound, after finishing the show year as NCHA Reserve Open Champion and World Champion Stallion.  He completed 2014 as the NCHA  Reserve Champion Stallion. His dam,  Uno Del Rey, was bred here at North Ridge Ranch and  is producer of foals earning over $670,000.   All her foals have been NCHA money earners,   His siblings have all been outstanding show horses including Cole’s full brother, Cats High Noon ( LTE $142,000 , $35 Am World Champion) , NRR Ollie Tom Cat who was 2016 Augusta Futurity Reserve Open Champion , and NRR Al Cat Capone , 2016 $25,000 Novice Horse World Top Ten (#4)

Cole is an extraordinary horse for his consistency, quick-footedness, range of movement, and great disposition.  He has been an  Open Champion in 21 Limited Aged Events (4/5/6 year old) events held in  a ten state area that includes, AZ, CO, ID, IA, MN, MT NE, SD, UT and WY.

He is the first horse in history to be an Affiliate Open Champion, Area Open Champion, Regional Open Champion, National Open Champion and World Open Champion.

 

December 2014 Mercuria/NCHA World Finals – 232.5 open run, last horse (15) on last day at the Will Rodgers Watt arena in Ft. Worth, TX. He received a standing ovation from a terrific crowd.

Black Catamounts Rey: 2000 AQHA black son of High Brow Cat has NCHA earnings of $50,000. He was Champion or finalist in over 20 NCHA events including 2005 and 2006 Congress Open Champion and 2006 Congress Classic Open Champion. He was 2006 Top 50 in both the Open and 10K Open classes. After having been retired to stud for several years, he returned to the show arena and became the South Dakota Open Champion for  2010.  That having been achieved, he is now “officially retired” to stud.

His sire is High Brow Cat who is the #1 Leading Sire of cutting horses. His dam is our black foundation mare, Rach Rey by Ollie Rey, an NCHA Non-Pro Superstakes Champion by Rey Jay (NCHA Hall of Fame).

Playboy Peppy Elvis: 2000 AQHA sorrel son of Freckles Playboy (NCHA Hall of Fame) out of Litten Lena, a Peppy San Badger (NCHA Hall of Fame) mare that has produced multiple NCHA winners. His full brother is the great Zipa Freckles (NCHA earnings of over $110,000). Evis’ foals are all correct and bold. He is owned by North Ridge Ranch.
